The NFL draft this year was filled with interesting and debatable picks, one of those being the Broncos taking Bo Nix 12th overall. The reason why this is an interesting pick is because yes, the Broncos needed a quarterback, but, over the offseason, they got Zach Wilson who was the Jets quarterback. Not only did they get Zach Wilson and Bo Nix, they also have their backup quarterbacks. Now, the Broncos have four quarterbacks with Bo Nix starting, then Zach Wilson, and followed up by Jarett Stidham and, finally, Ben DiNucci.
“I have high hopes for Bo Nix,” Broncos fan Grayson Adams said. “I think that he will be a great quarterback.”
This year, a new record was set. Out of the top fifteen picks, six of them were quarterbacks. This has only happened one time before, during the 1983 draft which included superstars like John Elway and Dan Marino. With all of these quarterbacks being drafted this year, it could be game changing for many teams across the league.
