Ms. Brashear is one of our vice principals at MBMS. She stepped into the role last school year. Ms. Brashear has 15 years of experience as an educator. She has taught middle school math and social studies, as well as upper elementary math and science. Being a vice principal has been a goal of hers since college.
“I enjoy being able to interact with students around campus and connect with the whole MBMS community. I also enjoy working collaboratively with teachers and going into classrooms to see the amazing work that teachers and students do each day,” Ms. Brashear said.
Being a vice principal is a lot of hard work. Ms. Brashear dedicates herself each and every day.
“The vice principal supports teachers and students, oversees student discipline, [and] supports programs at the school to promote student academic and social emotional wellbeing. The vice principal also works collaboratively with the administration team and staff,” Ms. Brashear said about her work.
Ms. Brashear has also been working with our other vice principal, Mr. Dargen.
“She is a very great person to work with; she’s very collaborative,” Mr. Dargen said about his colleague.
Mr. Dargen is not the only one who had positive thoughts to share about Ms. Brashear. Many students feel the same way.
“Ms. Brashear is very kind and cares a lot about the students,” seventh grader Cian Derow said.
